Each client session is designed to meet each individual's needs and goals at that particular point in time, using all my experience and techniques learned and developed over more than 20 years of bodyworking ranging from the relaxing to the therapeutic. If you have previous massage experience you may recognize elements of Swedish, neuromuscular, deep tissue, reflexology, energy work, and other techniques. Your care also includes education in self-care to enhance your experience and outcome.

Most massage therapy involves the use of a lubricant, and Terrapy includes only the finest products available. I have been using Biotone Professional Massage Products for many years with great success and response from clients. I have even been teased about being a Biotone devotee but there is a good reason for my loyalty: their consistent high quality and natural ingredients. My "palette" of Biotone includes the Advanced Therapy Gel and Lotion, and Herbal Select Massage Oil. These products, both on their own and blended together in various combinations, provide the best possible medium for the needs of most any massage client and treatment. Both of the A/T products are unscented and hypoallergenic. The Gel is seed-oil-based, with a remarkably light consistency that leaves no greasy residue on the skin, is perfect for those desiring the lightest of oil textures, and is water dispersible (washes out easily). These products, both separately and together, have served me well with their versatility and effectiveness while allowing me to keep my portable supply bag from becoming overloaded. I also use Biofreeze Pain Relieving Gel and can provide you with the roll-on, tube, or new spray for home use. (Biofreeze is only available through health practitioners)

My usual in-office setup includes all of the above, plus a variety of high-quality essential oils for even more customized aromatherapy; bodyCushion support system for prenatal and certain therapeutic massage applications; and Hot Stone Therapy, a deeply relaxing experience and the hottest "new" ancient healing practice to be rediscovered (bodyCushion and Hot Stone Therapy may be requested for in-home appointments on prior arrangement).

Prepaid Series Package and gift certificate expiration dates are firm and are calculated based on purchase date, and payment is due on or before the first visit in the Series. Weekly Prepaid Series packages are designed for a weekly commitment to regular care. Weekly Series-3 packages are valid for 4 weeks. Weekly Series-6 packages are valid for 8 weeks. Bi-Monthly Prepaid Series Packages are designed for a bi-monthly (every 2 weeks) commitment to regular care. Bi-Monthly Series-6 Packages are valid for 14 weeks. Monthly Prepaid Series Packages are designed for a monthly commitment to regular care. Monthly Series-6 packages are valid for 7 months. Monthly Series-12 packages are valid for 13 months. Purchased gift certificates are valid for 6 months. Complimentary or donated gift certificates are valid for 3 months. Please inquire for further information on gift certificates.
